Nicolas Boissin, BKS Partner, born 1965

 

Mr. Boissin is based in Prague, Czech Republic. He is responsible for origination, implementation and monitoring of investments and focuses on relationships with a number of local and regional advisors, investors and corporates. Mr. Boissin has over 16 years of transaction, corporate finance and general management experience including 10 years in the central & eastern European region where he held senior executive positions at Vivendi Telecom International as CEO in the Czech Republic & Poland. Upon arriving at Vivendi in the CEE, he led the financial and industrial restructuring of the company’s Polish cable television, Internet and telephony assets where Vivendi had 17 operating subsidiaries. Within an 18 month period, Mr. Boissin completed the successful restructuring of these assets. Many of these assets were written off only several months before.

 

During his time with Vivendi, Mr. Boissin was also responsible for company’s substantive investment in central and eastern Europe. Mr. Boissin was co-founder of a software company in France that he exited to Global One in 1995 only two years after it’s inception.  Presently, Mr. Boissin manages several private equity investments and managing director of Nej-TV, the second Czech CaTV operator.

 

Mr. Boissin holds a Doctorate in applied mathematics, and an engineering degree in computer science.
